Including the Skyway aluminum pegs, and the Skyway mag reflectors that usually got tossed on the way out of the bike shop. more a pedal that no one has ever heard of, so maybe these are original, but who knows? Everything else looks to be as-delivered. The pedals are era-correct, but are not what was commonly known to come on this bike.
HARO BICYCLE 6061 ALUMINUM UPGRADE
The grips are Odi mushrooms, which were a popular upgrade at the time, and may have come with the bike new.
The only other non-original parts I see are the grips and pedals, both of which are period correct. They hold air for display purposes, but should not be used. As with most bikes this age, I do not believe the tires are original, and if they were, they are shot anyway. It is a complete almost original bike, with a couple exceptions that I see. I tried to picture every aspect of the bike to show its exact condition and how complete it is. Make sure to look at all the pictures, there are many. This is a 1987 Haro Sport freestyle bike. If you have seen the pictures, you can see slight pitting spots on the handlebars and the rear axle platforms have a light dusting of rust. There are GT tires now on the bike, which are new and never. After being in storage for may years unused. So the item came out of the bike shop that way. States along with the bike a new Tioga seat post was no charge. I was informed the bike came with a fluted straight seat post. It was never abused, cracked, or re-welded. Dia-Comp brakes, Ukai HP48's with sealed bearing hubs, Gyro and Peregrine teflon lined cables, original Group 1 neck, fusion axle pegs.all the best components were factory installed at that time.
